Here’s the low down on what’s coming up for Young Adults at Resurrection. You can email me at jason.huwe@cor.org with any questions or check out the website for more info.

Young Adult Summer Small Groups: Join us for an exciting 12-week study on the book Searching For God Knows What by Donald Miller.  This is a follow-up study to the book Blue Like Jazz that we studied last summer.  Groups meet on Sundays at 9:30am (Rm 217) and 6:30pm (Rm 211) – May 31 – August 23.  The book is available at The Well. 

Learning Communities:  Starting on September 9, Young Adults can do a 6 week class together on Wednesday nights at 6:30.  Young Adults will be placed in small groups and will have the opportunity to learn together , while participating in community.  This Learning Community is entitled Knowing God.  You can register at www.cor.org/lc. 

Alpha: If you’re new to the faith, exploring the Christian faith, or new to Resurrection this might be the class for you.  Alpha is offered on Monday nights and Wednesday mornings at Resurrection.  It’s a 10 week class, where you can ask questions about Christianity in a safe environment.  You will be able to meet several other young adults and learn more about God!   The next Alpha Course begins on September 21.  Go to www.cor.org/alpha to register! 

Young Adult FaithWork:  We’ll be doing different service projects once a month.  We’ll be meeting in the Narthex of the church the third Saturday of each month.   The next YA FaithWork will be on August 15 at 9am. 

Vibe Worship Experience: This new edgy worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:45 in the Student Center. The message is the same as that in the Main Sanctuary, but the music and atmosphere is something completely different.

Post-Vibe Lunch:  What better way to connect with other young adults than by sharing a meal together? Post Vibe lunches are a great opportunity to discuss what our worship experience, to find out more about what’s happening in the young adult community, and to connect with others.

Young Adults meet near the back of the Student Center every week, after Vibe, to share lunch together.  The exact location of each week’s lunch is sent out in the weekly Young Adult email every Thursday.  To sign up for the weekly email, contact jason.huwe@cor.org. 

Young Adult Worship Experience: On August 27 Young Adult Ministry and College Life Ministry at Resurrection will be doing a Worship Experiences for Young Adults and College Students.  The Worship Experience will be at 7pm in the Wesley Chapel, and will include music, a brief message, and experiential ways in which to worship. 

Young Adult Get Togethers:  Resurrection Young Adult Ministry creates atmospheres to hang out and get to know other young adults in a laid back and fun setting once a month.  We’re usually do things like playing games, eating food, and just hanging out. 

Young Adult Serve Night:  Every first Thursday night of the month, Young Adult Ministry partners with College Life Ministry to serve together. We’ll meet at 6pm in the Narthex and will be finished around 8pm. Our next Serve Night will be August 6.
