Learning Communities: Starting on January 14, Young Adults can do a 6 week class together on Wednesday nights at 6:30. Young Adults will be placed in small groups and will have the opportunity to learn together , while participating in community. This Learning Community is entitled Loving God: You can register at www.cor.org/lc.
Alpha: If you’re new to the faith, exploring the Christian faith, or new to Resurrection this might be the class for you. Alpha is offered on Monday nights and Wednesday mornings at Resurrection. It’s a 10 week class, where you can ask questions about Christianity in a safe environment. You will be able to meet several other young adults and learn more about God! The next Alpha course begins on Jan. 5 and you can register at www.cor.org/alpha.
Young Adult FaithWork: We’ll be doing different service projects once a month. We’ll be meeting in the Narthex of the church the third Saturday of each month. The February service project will meet in the narthex of the church at 9am on Feb 20. You’ll have the option of serving in the Central United Methodist Soup Kitchen or doing light construction at Hillcrest Transitional Housing. It’s a great place to make a difference, while also meeting other young adults. In January, we will not be meeting for FaithWork, but instead we will be serving on Monday January 19th on the MLK Serve Day.
The Vibe Worship Experience: This new edgy worship service is on Sunday mornings at 10:45 in the Student Center. The message is the same as that in the main sanctuary, but the music and atmosphere is something completely different.
Post-Vibe Lunch: Every Sunday, we meet at the back of the Student Center near the climbing wall after The Vibe to go out to lunch. This will be a great time to discuss what we experienced at the service or to just hang out and get to know each other!
Young Adult Get Togethers: Resurrection Young Adult Ministry creates atmospheres to hang out and get to know other young adults in a laid back and fun setting once a month. We’re usually do things like playing games, eating food, and just hanging out.
