oh my gosh. i'm so happy.

i love music of the 90s. and i'm thinking... for outfits... spandex, oversized sweater, rolled socks, hair spray.

that is... if you're going for early 90s.

later 90s, baggy everything.

fo sho excited.

perhaps some TLC should be thrown in the mix? yes. yes, i think so.

I noticed that there was a rerun of Family Matters on TV last night, and it reminded me that we most definitely need to do the Urkel Dance (bonus points if you snort when you laugh):

It's finally happened. I've been wondering when it would be appropriate for people to have a 90's party. Then I was wondering what people would wear. Grunge? Girls in overalls?

Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms

Mary Jane's Last Dance - Tom Petty

Hand In My Pocket - Alanis Morissette

Mmm Bop - Hanson

Groove is In the Heart - Deee Lite

The Look - Roxette

Mambo Number 5 - Lou Bega

Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice

Also, for the record, Crystal Pepsi should only be consumed for the purpose of torture.

I looked for Crystal Pepsi on Ebay a few nights ago- you can actually still buy some, and I saw one item that hadn't turned yellow yet...

Now, where's My Buddy....

I'm pretty sure we need to get some Ace of Base in the mix. Other 90s songs/bands that immediately come to mind:

---the song "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)"
---To Be With You by Mr. Big
---Buddy Holly by Weezer (or any songs from their first two albums)
---Pearl Jam (songs from Ten)
---Beastie Boys (may need the radio edit for those...)
---Wannabe by the Spice Girls (I didn't say these would all be *good* songs)
---Backstreet Boys
---Cryin by Aerosmith
