The Spring BBQ has been postponed due to the weather. The new date for the BBQ is May 14 at 6pm at Leawood Park (10601 Lee Blvd).
Burgers and hotdogs provided. What you can bring if your name begins with: A-E – drinks (non-alcoholic), F-L – Salad, M-R – veggie or side dish, S-Z – dessert.
Our Summer Mission Trip with College Life Ministry will be to the beautiful Navajo Nation! We will be doing a Vacation Bible Camp and painting, while providing emotional and spiritual support.
When: June 26 – July 3
* We will be leaving the night of the 26th and get back very late on the 3rd.
Where: Blue Gap, AZ
Deadline to sign up: May 29
Required Training Meeting: Sunday, June 14th @ 2:00pm in room 215 of the East Building
Commissioning Date: June 21, 10:45am at Vibe (in Student Center)
Cost: $250.00 + Transportation Costs. Transportation costs (we will all be riding together) will be determined by the number of participants. Total cost will be set by the end of May.
*The $250 + transportation costs cover everything except meals on the way down and back, and any souvenirs you wish to purchase.
In order to participate in this mission trip, there are several forms to fill out. Please begin by sending in your application with a $100.00 deposit to reserve your spot. For this mission trip you must fulfill: 1. Be 18 years or older 2. Be Post high school as of May 2008 or before.

Since the next three weeks are so busy, I thought I’d write one blog to cover several of the upcoming opportunities for Young Adults at Resurrection:
April 23 – YA Worship Experience (with College Life Ministry) – In the Wesley Chapel at 7pm.
April 29 – Loving God Learning Community begins. For more information and/or to register to sit with other young adults, go to www.cor.org/lc.

May 7 – Young Adult Serve Night (with College Life Ministry). Meet in the narthex of the church at 6pm to carpool to Gillis House, a residential facility that helps struggling families. If you aren’t able to meet at the church, you can meet us at Gillis, at 8150 Wornall in KC, MO.
